: - IPC Magazines has appointed Delaney Fletcher Bozell as the first roster agency for its TV weeklies group since the deregulation of listings magazines in 1991.
Delaney Fletcher beat Partners BDDH, Mellors Reay and Mortimer Whittaker O'Sullivan for the business, which includes the group's flagship weekly, the TV Times.
Sly Grice, managing director of IPC's weeklies group, said the new agency would work on a new campaign in the autumn, which could take the TV Times onto television for the first time in seven years.
IPC's in-house team, Creative Solutions, which has masterminded its advertising activity since 1991, will work in conjunction with Delaney Fletcher.
"This is part of the long-term development plan for TV Times and we are looking to establish a long-term relationship with a creative agency," she said.
