Twitter's Dara Nasr: Brands can learn from how publishers use Twitter

Dara Nasr, the UK managing director of Twitter, said brands can win on Twitter by mimicking publishers' agility and immersion in current conversations.

Speaking at Media360 in Brighton, Nasr advised brands using Twitter to follow publishers’ example of aligning themselves with big events and passions.

"We always say Twitter is the shortest distance between you and your most passionate fans," he said.
