ranks of digital channels to build its ad team.

Tom Armstrong, airtime planner at MTV, will this week join Two Way TV as

sales and distribution manager. He will report to Jean de Fougerolles,

head of sales and distribution, who previously worked in the same role

at MTV. Armstrong said: ’There will be a bigger opportunity for

frontline sales at Two Way TV.’

Account manager Katherine Tipper joins from the Travel Channel to be

account manager for key UK accounts, while Richard Oban of the Discovery

Channel has been hired to court European advertisers.

Launched in 1992, Two Way TV is a games and entertainment service

available on cable and satellite television via a free set-top box.

The company will roll out its games and sports applications on to a new

’active digital’ service in the summer.
