Uddin-Khandakar quits Chrysalis for CCRS Manchester

Clear Channel Radio Sales (CCRS) has hired the first sales manager for its recently launched Manchester office.

Clear Channel Radio Sales (CCRS) has hired the first sales manager

for its recently launched Manchester office.



Salin Uddin-Khandakar will report directly to CCRS’s newly appointed

sales director for Manchester, Sarah Pemberton.



Uddin-Khandakar joins CCRS from Manchester-based Chrysalis Radio, where

he was agency accounts manager. His clients included the Manchester

Evening News, Liverpool Airport, Manchester City Council, First Leisure

and JD Sports.



Before Chrysalis, Uddin-Khandakar spent two years at Galaxy 103 as

direct sales manager. He began his radio career as key accounts manager

at Emap’s Kiss 102.



Commenting on the appointment, Jay Conroy, managing director of CCRS,

said: ’Uddin-Khandakar will be charged with developing Jazz FM’s sales

efforts in the North-west as the station continues to expand its

regional sales.’
