What happens when comedians take the reins of an ad campaign?

UKTV is unveiling the oddball results after it asked Taskmaster’s contestants to design ads for the new series as their first challenge. Noel Fielding, Lolly Adefope, Mel Giedroyc, Hugh Dennis and Joe Lycett were given 30 minutes and craft supplies to design a billboard. Paul Philpott and Peter Allinson at UKTV Creative, the broadcaster’s in-house arm, used the artwork and task footage to create TV and digital ads.
