An unbiased exhibition

Diary has learned that Claire Sheikh, the group brand director of Vodafone, is something of a patron of the arts.

The marketer has organised an exhibition, in aid of the charity Scope, by a 16-year-old artist with a "unique, creative style". The poster for the event, on 25 October at the Royal Opera Gallery, tells us that the artist, Jessica Payn, was inspired by "parascending in Pakistan; galloping across the Tien Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan on an enthusiastic but rugged pony; and roaming through the Namib Desert". What it doesn't mention is that Payn is Sheikh's daughter.
