Gin brand Bombay Sapphire opened its visitor experience centre at Laverstoke Mill in Hampshire this autumn.

Bombay Sapphire Distillery at Laverstoke Mill, a former paper mill, has been under construction for two years as part of a multi-million-pound restoration by The Bombay Spirits Company. Sustainability measures were at the forefront of the design and construction.

The Bombay Sapphire Distillery was designed by Thomas Heatherwick at Heatherwick Studio, and includes a number of spaces available for corporate hire.

The Gallery traces the roots of Bombay Sapphire's rich gin heritage - as well as its recipe - back to 1761, while the Dry Room, an area where guests will be able to smell and taste the harvested and dried botanicals used in the brand's products, will also be available for private hire for evening functions and banquets.

Additional spaces the Mill Bar and Entrance Hall are also suitable for events.

The venue has revealed an extensive events programme for its first year, including cocktail masterclasses, botanical sessions and gastronomy experiences, some of which will be available as team-building opportunities.
