Goldsmith tells Event's Rachel Bull how proud he is of Ignite's Event Awards' wins last year and the fact that you, the readers, voted him as the most influential man in the industry in the Event 100 Club.
In the interview he also reveals that the family festival he is organising for the Jubilee weekend is his response to the many concerts and music events that are taking place over the summer in London.
"The idea of the festival is for something that mums and dads, kids and teenagers can all enjoy. We wanted to do something different to music festival," explained Goldsmith.
He also explains how Ignite is now turning its attention to the work it is doing at the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.
"One of the team has actually just got back from a meeting with the actor Sean Penn about an awareness event we are looking at running for Haiti," added Goldsmith.
