The app enables users to play a game called ‘MojoMatcher’, designed to help travellers plan their next trip "on the go". It does the thinking for them by selecting destinations, giving users back their holiday "mojo".
Customers select the images they find most appealing from across the globe and the app makes three holiday suggestions based on the data. It will be updated with weekly offers and a store locator.
James Ward, brand and digital engagement manager, said: "With people always on the go, we wanted to give them the freedom to be able to get excited about going on holiday, even when they didn’t have time to sit down at a computer or visit one of our stores.
"By giving people access to exciting content in the palm of their hands and adding the MojoMatcher game to inspire them we hope that the Virgin Holidays app gets people’s mojo revved up for their next trip."
