Virgin signs sponsorship deal with sports brand

The sponsorship will include Umbro.com branding on daily sports bulletins on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show, Drivetime and Rock 'n' Roll football.

Umbro.com will also become the content provider of the football channel on Virgin Radio's website (www.virginradio.co.uk).

Umbro.com is a site hosting interviews with football stars and footage from training grounds. Paul Holland, head of marketing at Umbro.com, said: "This partnership will allow us to build our levels of brand awareness and will be used to promote Umbro.com as the place to get news, features and footage."
