Visability93 "Icon font" by McCann London

To mark 50 years since the creation of the International Symbol of Access (ISA) - the familiar icon of a person in a wheelchair used to signify accessible services - McCann London has created a whole typeface to inspire the design community to invent a more inclusive replacement.

Visability93, a project of the agency, is named after the 93% of disabled people who are not wheelchair users and are not accurately represented by the ISA. The new font includes 29 icons, mostly variants of the widely-used male and female icons, to represent a broad range of visible and invisible disabilities.
