Vizeum hires Red Spider's Hunter for chief strategy role

LONDON - Vizeum, Aegis Media's second-string media network, has recruited Malcolm Hunter as chief strategy officer.

Hunter joins from the brand consultancy Red Spider. Here he worked internationally on clients including Diageo, Unilever, Cadbury and Scottish & Newcastle.

Before Red Spider, Hunter spent 12 years in a variety of senior strategic planning roles in the UK and overseas with Ammirati Puris Lintas where he was global head of strategic planning, and then at Lowe Lintas.

Martyn Rattle, the chief operating officer at Vizeum, said: "Malcolm's appointment to this new role is consistent with our strategy of broadening Vizeum's offer by bringing in outside talent and fresh perspectives. It also reinforces our commitment to putting the connection between brands and consumers at the heart of communications planning."
