Vizzavi, the international portal owned by Vodafone and Vivendi has put Carat, CIA, OMD and Optimedia on the shortlist for the pitch for its media buying account.
The agencies have been earmarked for their strong European presence and capability of working across a wide range of media according to chief marketing officer Guy Laurence.
"We intend to make Vizzavi the number one multi-access portal in Europe. To do this, we need to build our brand presence through an ambitious and integrated pan-European media campaign to reach the 80 million customers we have access to in Europe," he said.
Vizzavi is also reviewing its creative, with Bates, BMP, D'Arcy, Publicis and WCRS involved in a pitch.
