Wagamama "Bowl to soul" by MullenLowe

Wagamama embraces the beauty of anime in the latest instalment of its"Bowl to soul" campaign.

Created using a blend of hand-drawn and computer illustrated artwork, the ad portrays one Londoner’s transcendent food experience as she is transported from a Japanese restaurant to a world of miso rivers, gyoza rafts and coriander ores. 

The work was created by Ben Williams and Mark Elwood, and directed by Mads Broni through Passion Animation Studios.

Wagamama revamped its "Bowl to soul" campaign in 2018 in order to show off its use of fresh ingredients and Asian inspiration to the restaurant’s target millennial audience.
