- Virtual shopping mall Streetsonline.co.uk has appointed Walsh Trott Chick Smith to its £3 million account.
The agency was appointed following a pitch last month. An initial campaign will be followed by advertising activity throughout the year to build awareness of the brand offline.
The company, backed by investors including Freeserve and BskyB, is aiming to challenge Amazon.co.uk's dominance of the home entertainment market online.
The campaign is expected to boost Streetsonline's value prior to its stock market flotation, planned for June this year. It is expected to raise £150 million after floatation.
