This Water unveils first TV ad

LONDON - This Water has unveiled its first ever TV ad, which is due to air on Monday (17 May).

The ad was created by freelancers found through the Gallery Network and is part of the brand's biggest above-the-line campaign since its launch in 2007.

Ray Massey (photographer) and Light TV (TVC director) were appointed to work on the campaign, with Greg Stephenson and Chris Stack of digital agency Ralph and Co also working on the project.

The TV ad shows pieces of fruit enjoying water, set to Billy Ocean's power ballad "Suddenly".

This Water, which is owned by the Innocent subsidiary Fresh Trading, had appointed Hurrell Moseley Dawson & Grimmer (HMDG) to handle the brand's ad account.

However, it emerged earlier this month that the agency had been dropped with This Water deciding to work with freelance creatives on an ad-hoc basis, as opposed to retaining an agency.

HMDG had secured the business in October following a pitch against Isobel, Albion and two other undisclosed agencies in a process handled by Agency Insight.
