WebSwappers.com hands CDP buying and planning task

CDP Media has won the planning and buying business for the pounds 6 million launch of WebSwappers.com.

million launch of WebSwappers.com.



The campaign will aim to make net users familiar with the brand and the

website.



The site enables consumers to swap goods and services for free and is

expected to launch next month.



Alan James, managing director of CDP Media, said the agency would use a

mixture of traditional and new media to achieve standout for the dotcom

client.



’WebSwappers is a unique service - if we position it correctly this

should be a significant factor in its favour. It does not have a UK

competitor at the moment, but things can change very quickly in this

business,’ he said.



The campaign is also likely to highlight the site’s ease of use and its

confidentiality.



James would not be drawn on the details of the strategy but said ’the

target audience is wide - anyone with access to the internet’.



James will oversee the account and will work with senior media

planner/buyer Giselle Connon-Jackson.



CDP Media’s other clients include Estee Lauder, Gallaher, Honda UK,

Swatch, Waterford Wedgwood and the Haymarket Group.
