The Week: Advertising - Joost signs up advertisers

The internet television platform Joost has signed more than 30 advertisers, including Coca-Cola, Nike and HP, in advance of its launch this week.

At its launch, the channel will run traditional 15- and 30-second ad spots, but will limit ad content to just three minutes per hour.

A third of its launch advertisers have come via a new year-long deal with Interpublic Group's Emerging Media Lab.
