One in five companies increased their marketing budgets over the quarter; and overall, budgets went up by the greatest margin since 2004. Internet advertising once again recorded the strongest growth. It now accounts for around 6 per cent of all advertising spend. Also, one in ten companies now spends at least 10 per cent of their ad budgets online.
Advertising budgets are growing at the fastest rate for seven years, according to the findings of the latest Bellwether Report.
