The Week: Advertising News - Ads don't spoil gameplay

Ads do not spoil or interrupt the enjoyment of playing computer games, according to recent research from the Internet Advertising Bureau. In the survey of 3,575 UK-based gamers, 52 per cent said they had seen an in-game ad in the past 12 months; and one-third said they would be "quite" or "very likely" to purchase a product they had seen advertised while playing.
