The Week: Advertising News - Alcohol ad impacts down

Underage drinkers are being exposed to fewer alcohol ads on television, according to research from Ofcom and the Advertising Standards Authority. The findings show that between 2002 and 2006, advertising impacts fell by 31 per cent for 16- to 24-year-olds and 39 per cent for ten- to 15-year-olds.
