The Week: Advertising News - ASA investigates AMV ad

The Advertising Standards Authority has launched an investigation into a government-backed climate change ad campaign by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO.

The regulator received 357 complaints about "bedtime story", which states that climate change is caused by humans. The majority of the complaints centre on whether scientific evidence proves that climate change is caused by humans, although one complainant accused the spot of "scaremongering" and of being inappropriate for children.
