The Week: Advertising News - ASA looks into ice-cream ad

The Advertising Standards Authority has launched an investigation into an ad for the upmarket ice-cream brand Antonio Federici Gelato Italiano, featuring a nun and a priest about to kiss.

The poster, which received one complaint, sees a nun in her habit moving in to kiss a priest, alongside the copy "kiss temptation". The complaint argued that the ad was demeaning to people in religious vocations, prompting the food magazine Delicious to refuse to run the ad.
