The Week: Advertising news - ASA won't ban airbrushing

Advertising watchdogs have rejected calls by the Liberal Democrats to restrict the use of airbrushing in ads. The party wants to see airbrushing banned in campaigns aimed at children, and caveats added to other ads using the technique. A spokeswoman for the Advertising Standards Authority said that it would not take any action on the issue.
