The Week: Advertising News - Brands to cut additives

Cadbury and Mars are to remove artificial additives from a range of sweet brands including Starburst, Skittles, Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts and M&Ms after a study confirmed a link between additives and hyperactivity in children. Mars will remove additives from its brands by the end of the year, while Cadbury plans to do the same before the end of 2008.
