The Week: Advertising news - Calm unveils DM campaign

Calm, the charity that aims to raise awareness of depression among young men, has launched a hard-hitting direct marketing campaign in a bid to encourage businesses to get behind its efforts to reduce male suicide.

Created by TMW, the mail pack contains examples of items that a suicide victim might leave in their desk or in their pockets which a company would have to package up and send to the relatives of an employee who had killed himself.

The campaign will be sent to heads of organisations, encouraging them to each donate £100 to the cause.
