The Week: Advertising News - Co-op takes over Corrie

The Co-operative is taking over an entire ad break during Coronation Street to launch its £10 million rebranding campaign.

The ad, created by McCann Erickson, will break at 7.40pm on 16 February and is set to feature the Bob Dylan song Blowin' in the Wind. A follow-up 60-second ad, carrying the strapline "Good for everyone", will run for four weeks before returning in the summer.
