The Week: Advertising news - Coke unveils new strapline

Coca-Cola's new "open happiness" strapline will launch in a global campaign, created by Wieden & Kennedy, that will bring together musical talents such as Gnarls Barkley, Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes.

According to Coca-Cola, music will play a central role in the work and a new track, a collaboration by a number of famous acts created for one of the ads, will be released as a single. The strapline "open happiness" is an evolution of the "Coke side of life", a campaign that featured the ads "video game", "happiness factory" and "it's mine".
