The Week: Advertising News - Economist launches ads

The Economist will launch its spring ad campaign in the UK on May 3, developing the new look first introduced in September 2007.

The campaign will include five new executions that explain why The Economist is the best way to remain fully informed about global affairs. Each ad features illustrations from a number of specially commissioned artists, including Paul Davis and the designer Anthony Burrill.
