The Week: Advertising news - Friendly Fires gig for Sony

The new rave band Friendly Fires has played a live set in complete darkness for Sony Ericsson as a follow-up to the mobile phone company's "gig in the sky" campaign.

Created by Iris, the new "pitch black" campaign saw the band play to 200 fans in total darkness, with the idea that if a person's sight is taken away, then their other senses are heightened.
