The Week: Advertising news - Govt and industry team up

The Government is to join forces with advertisers, agencies and media owners to raise awareness of obesity, alcohol abuse and exercise in the run-up to the 2012 London Olympics.

The push is expected to run for three to five years and is likely to include editorial coverage from media owners as well as free ad space. The Advertising Association is leading the project, details of which will be unveiled later in the summer.
