The Week: Advertising News - Hamilton backs Santander

The British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton is fronting a multimillion-pound TV campaign to promote the rebrand of Abbey and Bradford & Bingley bank branches to Santander.

The campaign, through WCRS, shows the construction of a giant bridge with red toy bricks. It will be supported by print, outdoor, in-store and digital activity. The ad will promote the launch of Santander's fee-free Zero Current Account across all its branches.
