The Week: Advertising news - Kit Kat unveils brand site

Kit Kat has launched a new brand site "where nothing happens" in a bid to encourage internet users to take a break from complicated websites.

Rather than showing reams of text, images, tabs and video content, the website simply carries the text "The first worldwide website where nothing happens", along with the "Have a break" strapline. Small print at the bottom of the web page encourages users who spot anything happening on the site to report the "bug" to an e-mail address, for which they will receive a reward.
