The Week: Advertising News - Lydon defends Country Life

John Lydon has defended his role in fronting TV ads for Country Life butter, and has revealed his fee for the campaign will fund the forthcoming reunion tour for his band Public Image Limited.

The former Sex Pistols frontman, who attacked those accusing him of selling out, will play five dates with PiL next month, marking the first reunion of the band in 17 years.
