The Week: Advertising News - Milk no longer 'junk food'

The Food Standards Agency has rewritten its nutrient profiling system so that ads for whole milk do not fall foul of the rules on junk-food advertising to children. Earlier in the year, Asda criticised the system, saying that ads for milk would be classified as high in fat, salt or sugar (HFSS), and, as such, would not be permitted to be advertised to children. Its ads were never banned, but under the new system, they no longer fall into the HFSS category.
