The Week: Advertising News - Money giants' value drops

The value of financial brands such as American Express, Citi and UBS have been the hardest hit in the latest Business Week/Interbrand Global Brand Study. The highest-placed finance brand, American Express, fell from number 15 to number 22, and lost 32 per cent of the value of its brand. The top five places remained unchanged, led by Coca-Cola at the top, followed by IBM, Microsoft, GE and Nokia. McDonald's climbed to the sixth spot from eighth last time.
