The Week: Advertising News - Portman to tackle drunks

Alcohol brands, retailers and media owners are planning to team up to create an advertising campaign to make drunkenness socially unacceptable to young people.

The Portman Group is co-ordinating the initiative and will ask media owners to donate ad space for the scheme. It will also talk to senior marketers to establish a proposal, before beginning a search to find an advertising agency.
