The Week: Advertising news - Public imitate T-Mobile ad

Hordes of dancers mimicking the T-Mobile "dance" ad forced police to close Liverpool Street station for around 90 minutes on 6 February.

More than 13,000 people congregated on the station concourse at 7pm to replicate the Saatchi & Saatchi spot, in an event organised through the social networking site Facebook. The flash-mob prompted police to close the station for fear of overcrowding, and some arrests were made for public order offences.
