The Week: Advertising news - Ryanair to be transparent

Ryanair has agreed to make the details of costs in its advertising more transparent after its referral to the Office of Fair Trading by the Advertising Standards Authority.

Among the measures the no-frills airline has agreed to is giving greater prominence to e-mail links on its website that lead to information about additional charges such as checked-in baggage. It must also provide clear information about its price guarantee and qualify statements about guaranteeing to offer the lowest prices.
