The Week: Advertising News - Timberlake stars for Pepsi

Justin Timberlake is to star in an ad campaign for Pepsi that will break during the US Super Bowl.

The campaign, created by BBDO New York, will promote Pepsi Stuff, a new initiative to give away music in return for customers collecting points. The ad, called "magnetic attraction", sees the star involved in a number of stunts, narrowly escaping disaster. Timberlake follows in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, as well as singers such as Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, Gwen Stefani and P Diddy, all of whom have previously appeared in Pepsi campaigns.
