The Week: Advertising News - Wonderbra's Green quits

The woman who was chosen to front Wonderbra's "real women" advertising campaign has quit after bosses told her to lose weight and drop two dress sizes.

Katie Green, a former New Look shop assistant, was persuaded by Wonderbra to join Premier Model Management, which also has Kelly Brook and Myleene Klass on its books. However, the agency told her that the normal size for models was between 8 and 10 and that she should lose two stone, despite being chosen for her curvy figure after a nationwide search for "real" women to appear in an ad campaign for Wonderbra's larger bra sizes.
