The Week: Advertising News - Zenith predicts spend fall

Global advertising spend is expected to fall more dramatically than expected during 2009, according to the latest report from ZenithOptimedia.

Adspend will decline by 6.9 per cent to £305 billion, compared with a 1 per cent decline during 2008, the Publicis media buying network said. UK adspend will fall by 8.7 per cent but will rally in 2010 with a 2.3 per cent climb, according to the report.
