The Week: Advertising Reviews - McCann scoops hotel group

InterContinental Hotels Group has confirmed that McCann Erickson has won its £10 million advertising account across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as first revealed by Campaign (16 May).

The account, which will be handled by McCann Erickson Communications House, based in Cheshire, covers the Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza brands, and the brief includes advertising, direct marketing, digital and point-of-sale activity. A marketing push will also support the global redesign of its Holiday Inn brand - the first time its logo has been revamped in the past 50 years.
