The Week: Brand news - Coors launches ladies' beer

In a bid to increase the number of women who regularly drink beer, Coors is launching the first-ever clear beer into the UK market.

The as yet un-named drink will have an ABV of 4 per cent and will be flavoured with green tea and dragon fruit to taste like an alcopop. The news follows the launch of the Coors BitterSweet Partnership business unit, codenamed Eve, which was set up to increase the number of women beer drinkers by investigating reasons why they steer clear of the drink.
