The Week: Brand News - Tesco in mobile giveaway

Tesco, as part of its new positioning as "Britain's biggest discounter", is extending its cut-price strategy to its offering of mobile phone packages.

The supermarket is offering additional credit when customers top up their pay-as-you-go phones, in a bid to broaden the appeal of its phone products. For example, those topping up £15 will get an extra £30 credit. Tesco has also introduced its first pay-monthly plan, offering customers who pay £15 a month a £45 bonus.
