The company increased its dividend by 21 per cent to 2.3p a share. Aegis' media division, including Carat and Vizeum, won $1.67 billion of net new business over the year, and increased revenues by 13 per cent to £673.4 million. Isobar, Aegis Media's digital marketing network, increased its share of the division's revenues from 20 per cent to 26 per cent. Robert Lerwill, the Aegis chief executive, said: "We are cautious about the macro-economic outlook for 2008, but relatively optimistic about our own prospects."
Aegis reported 17.6 per cent growth in annual pre-tax profits to £133.5 million for 2007, and outperformed the industry with organic revenue growth of 9.8 per cent.
