The Week: City News - Creston revenue grows

The marketing services group Creston reported 4 per cent revenue growth and a headline operating profit margin after head office costs of 18 per cent for the nine months ending December 2008.

The group, which owns agencies including Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners and Tullo Marshall Warren, said the results showed that it was on course to meet expectations for the current financial year. Only 21 per cent of the group's revenue was reported to have come from above-the-line advertising in that period, with more than 70 per cent of the income coming from direct and digital marketing, healthcare marketing and market research.
