The Week: City news - DMG posts rise in profits

Digital Marketing Group has reported a 45 per cent year-on-year rise in pre-tax profits for the year ending 31 March.

The digital group saw profits jump to £3.11 million on the back of an 11 per cent year-on-year increase in revenues, which rose from £50.97 million to £56.65 million. However, despite the increase, DMG has said that the last few months of the financial year "proved very difficult", and stated that it expected the challenging situation to continue into the first half of 2009/10.
