The Week: City News - Johnston ad revenues rally

Johnston Press, the regional news publisher, has reported a rallying trend in its ad revenues.

The group, which owns The Scotsman and Yorkshire Post, said ad revenue fell 19.1 per cent over the past ten weeks compared with the same period during 2008. This was an improvement on the 26.1 per cent fall recorded in the previous eight weeks and the 32.7 per cent drop in the first half of the year.
