The Week: City news - Newsquest loses revenue

Advertising revenue at the regional newspaper publisher Newsquest fell 36.9 per cent year on year in the second quarter of 2009, but June was looking more positive. The company reported a 45.2 per cent year-on-year fall in classified advertising in the period from April to June. Retail ads fell 20 per cent and national display ads by 10.5 per cent.
